PLOT:
This has to be a leading contender for worst Columbo episode ever. Andrew Stevens plays Wayne Jennings, an ambitious womaniser. He has been rejected by Theresa Goran, who he planned to marry, so he kills her and makes it look like an intended robbery. However Columbo is unconvinced. Stevens seems to be having affairs with all the women he meets, including Jess McCurdy, played by Brenda Vaccaro, though the two fight like cat and dog. Eventually Columbo gets his man.
VERDICT: The plot is boring and the acting thin in this poor episode. It's rubbish and not worth bothering with. Even Columbo isn't on top form.
