On this page we feature a selection of Columbo books that have been published over the years.
JUST ONE MORE THING By Peter Falk
Published in 2006 in the U. S., this is a book of short stories by Peter Falk. Falk reminisces about various events from his life in his unique style. This is not an autobiography, as the book does not run in chronological order and does not contain a lot of the information that a biography does. There are stories about the making of Columbo, though not enough for my liking. However, this is still a good book. You can pick it up for five minutes or three hours and it entertains. A must have for fans of the series.
THE COLUMBO PHILE By Mark Dawidziak
Published in 1989, this is a detailed guide to the Columbo series. The only problem with this book is its' availability. It has long been out of print and because of the date it was published does not contain information on the more recent Columbo episodes. With Columbo seemingly at an end now, it seems an opportune time for an update. I'm sure that many fans of the show would be keen for an updated edition.
COLUMBO: THE GAME SHOW KILLER By William Harrington
Published in the early 1990s and still available to purchase, this is one of William Harrington's series of novels featuring Lieutenant Columbo. This was a missed opportunity as The Game Show Killer is poorly written and doesn't seem to capture the essence of Columbo's character.
